In our 44 years we have undertaken many and varied restorations and have loved every minute! A passion became a way of life and we have never looked back. A great deal of what we do are the restorations of inherited family furniture and we consider it a great privilege to be a part of preserving memories for future generations. We are happy to discuss possibilities in detail and offer advice. Sometimes our clients wish to make radical changes to furniture but on other occasions minimal enhancement and repair are preferred. Crafting Timeless Furniture Restorations

Lawrence Restorations specializes in all aspects of furniture restoration and bespoke upholstery services, serving Nottingham and the rest of the UK with a passion for detail and care. Here we repaired the veneer and restored heavy staining and water damage to an Oscar Blanca "El Vortices" side table before subtle re-polishing. The stain removal was more successful than we anticipated initially which resulted in a very happy customer and a lovely feeling of satisfaction!

The end result was a subtle restoration that removed at least 95% of the damage and retained a very well kept vintage appearance by blending in to the original polishing on the edge of the table which we purposefully left untouched as it's condition was good thus giving us a great yard stick to match the new lacquering to. We were able to colour match to produce a finish that was well protected with modern lacquers yet pretty much how it would have been before the long term damage it had suffered from leaky vases of flowers over several years.
